- About The Author
- Yang Liu is a Personal Chair in Dynamics and Control in the Department of Engineering at the University of Exeter and an Honorary Lecturer in the Endoscopy Department at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He serves as an Editor for the journal Nonlinear Dynamics, an Executive Guest Editor for the International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, and the Lead Guest Editor for Meccanica. Since joining Exeter in 2016, Professor Liu has led the Exeter Small-Scale Robotics Laboratory. His research lies at the intersection of medical robotics, nonlinear dynamics, and control, with a particular focus on developing small-scale robotic systems for minimally invasive diagnostics and therapeutic applications.
