The Women's Prizes for Fiction & Non-Fiction

The Women’s Prize for Fiction was established in 1996 to champion and amplify women’s voices. The Prize is awarded annually to the author of the best full-length novel of the year written in English and published in the UK.

The Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction was first awarded in 2024. It celebrates exceptional narrative non-fiction by women and is open to all women writers from across the globe who are published in the UK and writing in English.
