Pamela Butchart Books

Award-winning Scottish author Pamela Butchart writes funny children's books that kids aged 7+ - even reluctant readers - will love. She grew up in Dundee and was an avid reader, partly thanks to her mum and grandma who encouraged her love of reading. She loved to invent stories for her friends and wrote her first story, The Toilet Ghost, at the age of eight. After school, she studied Philosophy and became a teacher. Her first books were published in January 2014, and since then she has won a Blue Peter Book Award and The Children's Book Award.
