She is the author of the critically acclaimed and bestselling novels, Conversations With Friends, which was published in 2017, Normal People, published in 2018, and Beautiful World, Where Are You, published in 2021. In 2017, Sally won the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award, and Conversations with Friends was the Guardian, Observer, Daily Telegraph and Evening Standard’s Book of the Year. Normal People has been made into a major 12 part TV series, which has been adapted for TV by Sally herself, and directed by Lenny Abrahamson, the Oscar-winning director of ‘Room’.
