- About The Author
- Professor SVS Deo (MS, FACS, FAIS) completed his post-graduation from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and subsequently pursued a fellowship in surgical oncology in the USA. He is currently the Head of the department of surgical oncology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. His main area of interest is breast cancer. He has more than 200 peer-reviewed national and international publications. He has delivered numerous lectures at various national and international conferences and has been involved in organizing several conferences related to breast cancer and oncoplasty workshops. He is the current president of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI) and President-Elect of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO). He has also served as a council member and treasurer of Breast Surgery International (BSI).
