- Book Synopsis
-
One Cornish summer, three women forge a friendship that will change their lives forever…
Grace Valentine, a newly single mum, heartbroken and penniless, heads to Cornwall in a beaten-up old campervan.
Tansy Fairweather, a dreadlocked tomato-growing old hippy, lives alone in a remote farmhouse by the sea.
Elsie Curtain, about to turn 40, wonders where her life has gone and why her Barbados Beach House hasn’t materialised yet.
They each make a wish, but are they ready for the consequences?
A story of love, heartbreak and moonlight kissing, of friendship, lobster and the power of wishing.
- About The Author
- Karin grew up in Northamptonshire and, after earning a law degree and trying her hand at sales, spent several years travelling the world before settling in London. A later move to Cornwall with her two children sparked her writing life—second only to her love of her boys, travel, and bacon sandwiches. Now living on the North Cornwall coast, she embraces the rain, spending her days writing, walking, baking, and chasing adventures. She claims the world’s best chocolate brownies (her children agree) and has even skydived—twice. Karin also works as a chaperone for child actors in film and TV, with credits including Malory Towers, Doc Martin, Fisherman’s Friends, and Poldark. The job has taken her into mines, under tables, through spidery sheds, and onto stormy boats—experiences she loves and happily mines for writing inspiration.
