Grandson of Charles de Cortanze, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans driving a Peugeot Darl'Mat, cousin of André de Cortanze, father of the Alpine-Renault and the Peugeot 905, he has published numerous books about cars, including The taste of the automobile (Mercure de France, 2017) and, published by Albin Michel, The legend of the 24 hours of Le Mans, for which he was awarded by the Prix de l'Association des écrivains sportifs.
