Tigers at White City

Glasgow's White City Stadium was one of British speedway's key venues from when the sport started in 1928 until 1968, when the Glasgow Tigers moved as the Stadium faced potential demolition. This work covers the full history of the Glasgow Tigers - and briefly Lions - at White City. It recalls some of the legendary riders who rode for the Tigers before and after the Second World War, including Billy Galloway, Will Lowther, Junior Bainbridge, Tommy Miller and Ken McKinlay.
