- Book Synopsis
- Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) holds the potential to help millions of people suffering from various autoimmune diseases and cancers. It has been used to help those with autism, chronic fatigue, and depression find relief, and latest research points to its potential for long covid, mold toxicity, even longevity. Administered off-label in small daily doses (0.5 to 4.5 mg), this generic drug is extremely affordable and presents few known side effects. So why has it languished in relative medical obscurity? Find out more about the potential of LDN from leading international medical professionals in this updated, third book, edited by Linda Elsegood, founder of The LDN Trust.
- About The Author
- Linda Elsegood is the founder of the LDN Research Trust, a UK-registered nonprofit charity dedicated to raising awareness and providing education on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for a wide range of chronic and autoimmune conditions. Linda discovered LDN following her own diagnosis of secondary progressive multiple sclerosis. After experiencing years of debilitating relapses and being told there were no further treatment options, she began to explore alternative approaches. Her personal success with LDN led her to launch the LDN Research Trust in 2004 to help others access information, support, and guidance. Run entirely by volunteers and supported solely through donations, the charity has become a global hub for both patients and medical professionals. Its website offers up-to-date resources, including prescriber and pharmacist directories, guides, research updates, and access to LDN-focused clinical trials. Linda also hosts the LDN Radio Show, available on all major podcast platforms, and has produced six widely viewed documentaries highlighting the life-changing potential of LDN.
