- About The Author
- From Ile Saint Louis, Paris, FRANCE, Dominique has a degree in Fine Arts from Ecole de Beaux-Arts de Paris from 1968. Many years later, in 1983, he actualized his childhood dream - he boarded Calypso to create a series of graphic novels with Jacques-Yves Cousteau. This series of 17 books were inspired by the missions of the Cousteau team around our blue planet. Dominique continues to work defending the marine environment, with the likes of Paul Watson (Sea Shepherd), Jean-Michel Cousteau (Ocean Futures) and Patrick Deixonne (Expédition 7e Continent). With his drawings, paintings and graphic novels, Dominique shares his fascination for the underwater world with children, inciting them to respect and defend it.
