- About The Author
- Noel Fitzpatrick is a world leading orthopaedic-neuro veterinary surgeon, known for his compassionate and innovative work treating companion animals. Among his many awards of recognition of his advanced procedures, Noel holds a place in the Guinness Book of Records as the first person to successfully apply a skeletally anchored amputation prosthesis to treat a cat who had lost both of their hind legs in an accident. Professor Noel Fitzpatrick obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin in 1990 and went on to set up Fitzpatrick Referrals in Surrey in 2005.
