- About The Author
- Lebogang Seale is a multi-award winning journalist and media and communications practitioner. He is a PhD candidate in Journalism and Media Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. He completed a Master's degree (Cum Laude) at the same university in 2021. Lebogang also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Rhodes University, among other qualifications. He has a wealth of experience in the mainstream media spanning over a decade, having worked for Independent Group for over a decade. He served in various senior positions such as the (night) news editor of The Star (the Group's flagship newspaper title), as well as doubling as the deputy editor of the Saturday Star and the Sunday Independent. He also served as the editor of the Sunday Independent.
