- Gerhard Heidbrink worked at the Mercedes-Benz Classic division for nearly 30 years. All remaining examples of the C 111 are retained under the stewardship of Mercedes-Benz Classic. He is based in Rot am See, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany.
