Delivery overview

  • Order by 6pm Monday to Friday on selected items for same day dispatch.
  • Express delivery is available only on qualifying items.
  • Republic of Ireland standard delivery is free on orders over €10.
  • Tracking details are sent by email once your order has been dispatched.

Same day dispatch

Same day dispatch is available on selected titles only. Order before 6pm, Monday to Friday, for dispatch the same day.

Express delivery

Express delivery is only available for items marked "Order by 6pm for same day dispatch".

  • Orders placed before 6pm, Monday to Friday, are delivered on the next business day.
  • Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
  • Orders placed on bank holidays are dispatched on the next business day for delivery on the following day.

Delivery lead times

Items marked "Order by 6pm for same day dispatch" are eligible for next-day delivery within the Republic of Ireland, Monday to Friday, provided they are in stock at the time of order.

Items that are not marked for same day dispatch are supplied from our extended range and are typically delivered within 3 to 5 working days.

All delivery timings are subject to our delivery partners meeting their service commitments.

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email with your tracking number.

Standard delivery lead times

  • Ireland and Northern Ireland: 2 to 3 working days
  • UK excluding Northern Ireland: 3 to 7 working days
  • Europe: 4 to 7 working days
  • USA & Canada: 6 to 10 working days
  • Rest of world: 8 to 12 working days

Express delivery lead times

  • Republic of Ireland only: 1 to 2 working days

Delivery types

Standard order

A standard order contains a single item or multiple items fulfilled and dispatched in one delivery. You will receive a tracking email once your items have been handed to our delivery partner.

Multiple item order

If you have ordered multiple items, they may be dispatched in separate deliveries. You will receive tracking information each time part of your order is sent.

Click & collect order

If you have ordered an item for Click & Collect in an Eason store, you will receive confirmation from the store when your item is ready for collection. You will also receive a collection confirmation after the item has been collected.

Pre-order

If you have pre-ordered an item, it will be dispatched once stock has been received from the publisher or supplier. You will receive a tracking email once the item has been handed to our delivery partner.

Delivery address changes

Please note that delivery addresses cannot be changed once an order has been processed.

Order tracking

Track a standard delivery order

You can track your standard delivery order using An Post tracking .

If no one is available to sign for the package, you will receive a collection notice and your parcel will be held at your local An Post depot.

To collect your parcel, please bring photo identification and quote your tracking number at the local delivery depot.

Track an express delivery order

You can track your express delivery order using DPD tracking .

Free standard delivery applies to all orders within the Republic of Ireland over €10.

Shipping to the USA

From 29 August 2025, goods shipped to the USA are subject to import taxes and or duties. These charges are set and collected by US authorities and must be paid by the recipient before delivery.

You may be contacted by the local postal operator or carrier to arrange payment. Delivery cannot proceed until any applicable charges are paid, and delays may occur if payment is outstanding.

The amount due depends on the item type and order value and is outside our control. By placing an order for delivery to the USA, you accept responsibility for any applicable import charges.

We will continue to dispatch orders as normal and provide tracking so you can manage any requests from customs or the delivery carrier.
