- Michelle Roehm McCann and Marianne Monson have been writing and editing children's books for over tweny years. Ever since they were little girls, they have been fascinated by fairies and spent years traveling the world collecting stories for this book. David Hohn studied illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Finding Faries was his first picture book he ever illustrated. David owes an enormous debt of gratitude to all the fairies who stood still long enough for their portraits to be painted for this book
