- Book Synopsis
- Are you looking for something extraordinary? Will you know it when you see it? These are the challenges faced by little Mia in this warm and funny rhyming story about a visit to the local charity shop with her ever-patient dad. Mia is too distracted to notice the most remarkable item in the shop, but, luckily, she is not the only character with a dream and, more importantly, a plan! This book is suitable for shared reading and will delight any youngster (or grown-up) who understands the joy of being with elephants. "I like this story - it's about me," Elias the elephant.
- About The Author
- Judith Kennedy is a qualified teacher who lives on the Wirral with her husband. During their honeymoon in Myanmar (Burma) in 2020, Judith washed a retired logging elephant in a river, then fed it with tasty pumpkin treats plus small pieces of banana tree for extra ruffage. That was when she learned that elephants spend up to 18 hours every day eating.
