- Book Synopsis
- Amelia and her bestie, Webster, live inside a hot air balloon, in the gift shop of an amazing museum. When the doors ate locked and the public have gone home, Amelia and Webster love to go exploring. All the chocolate has disappeared from the museum gift shop, and Amelia is determined to solve the mystery of who has been munching on the missing goodies. Setting off with Webster, the intrepid mouse adventurer finds herself in the Aztec Exhibit, where her fellow museum mice are stuck in a rather … sticky situation! Can Amelia save the day? With full colour illustrations and accessible text, plus fun Aztec facts at the back of the book, this comic-form early reader will ensure that children love the start of their reading journey.
- About The Author
- Cat Weldon is a children's author who writes funny stories and has a particular interest in history and world mythology. Her debut Viking trilogy, How to be a Hero, was published by Macmillan Children's Books. With a master's degree in Scriptwriting and a background in children's theatre, Cat now splits her time between writing, teaching, and chasing her collection of delinquent (but not evil) chickens through the neighbour's gardens. Cat lives in East Anglia with her family and can often be found in museums. Follow her on twitter @WeldonCat
