With exams just around the corner, make sure you’re prepped and ready to take on the State Exams!

 

Revision Tips:
Between now and 4th June, you’ll likely be trying to cram as much as possible. The key? Study smarter, not harder. Burnout and exhaustion won’t do you any favours—but we’ve got a few things that might help. 

 

Inspire Education’s Cornell Pad:
The Cornell note-taking system is an internationally recognised study method. It helps you zero in on the most important information, and its layout makes it easier to visualise and recall later.

 

Study Cards:
Not exactly a ‘hidden gem’—and for good reason. They work. Associating keywords with short summaries or expanding points is a proven way to help your brain retain information.
 
Mind Maps:
Sometimes a visual tool is the best way to recall key information. Mind maps can help remove the clutter, highlight what’s most important, and show how different ideas connect.

 

Exam & Revision Stationery

During the Exam:
The State Exams have clear rules about what can and can’t enter the exam hall, so it’s worth getting organised ahead of time to avoid any surprises.
 
You’re not allowed to bring in books, paper, notes, smartwatches, or your mobile phone.
You also can’t use gel pens, highlighters, or correction fluid—just cross out any mistakes and keep going.
