Sinéad Moriarty introduces her new book 'Fixing Mum and Dad' with the chance to see an exclusive first chapter of the book before it is puslished on the 12th of September!

Fixing Mum and Dad is a book about a family dealing with the ups and downs of life.

It's about eleven-year-old Quinn who is worried because her mum and dad are arguing all the time. Quinn wants her family to stay the same and never change, but sometimes the change you dread, is actually a good thing.

The idea for the book came to me when I was doing talks in schools and libraries and the kids said they'd like to read a book that dealt with separation and divorce. It is a gentle, hopeful book that deals with the subject in a sensitive way.
