Anthony Horowitz is a British novelist and screenwriter. He has written over 50 books including the bestselling teen spy series 'Alex Rider', which sold 21 million copies worldwide and has been turned into a hugely successful TV series. Anthony was commissioned to write two Sherlock Holmes novels 'The House of Silk' and 'Moriarty' and also three James Bond novels 'Trigger Mortis', 'Forever and Day' and 'With A Mind to Kill'. Anthony has also written for some successful television series which have appeared on UK and Irish television, including 'Midsomer Murders' and BAFTA winning 'Foyle's War' drama series. In his spare time Anthony is dedicated to supporting local family charities in his hometown of Suffolk.
