- About the Author Cynthia Pfirrmann, M.S., Roswell, NJ Cynthia currently teaches Anatomy & Physiology and Biology at a Junior/Senior elective level, with academic course averaging 70-80 students per school year at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. She has also published other books with Barron's, such as the E-Z Way Series and The New Jersey Biology Competency Test. About the Publisher In the 1930s, Manuel H. Barron opened a bookstore in Brooklyn, New York. People from the community asked Mr. Barron about books that might be available to help their children study for the New York State Regents exams.
