- About The Author
- Debbie Thomas has worked as a journalist in Bangladesh, where she was caught in a cyclone, and South Africa, where she swam in a crocodile-sprinkled river. Celbridge in County Kildare is the slightly safer home she now shares with her husband, three daughters and attention-seeking garden. She has written four children's books (Dead Hairy, Jungle Tangle, Monkie Business and Class Act) and is the Writer in Residence at Crumlin Hospital School. In the next three years she will write a musical, bungee jump from a bridge in Ecuador and help to start a project supporting disadvantaged children in South Africa. Honest.
