- Book Synopsis
-
Ideal for readers who:
- Take pleasure in Irish cooking rooted in comfort and connection.
- Like cookbooks that celebrate everyday family life as much as recipes.
- Would enjoy dishes shaped by the warmth and rhythm of the kitchen table.
- Prefer approachable food writing that feels generous, practical and inviting.
The kitchen table is at the centre of Irish life - a place we gather in good times and bad, to find comfort, nourishment and good conversation. Eunice Power's My Irish Kitchen Table is a celebration of that space, and the role of food in it.
From easy fruit crumbles to relaxed midweek meals, and ceremonial family feasts for that special occasion, these recipes reflect the rhythms of real life. Whether it's the first rhubarb cake of spring, a bowl of homemade soup on a busy workday, a loaf of bread baked for a friend or brunch shared with a crowd, Eunice's dishes give the home cook confidence, expand their repertoire and bring new energy into everyday cooking.
My Irish Kitchen Table is the reliable kitchen ally you'll turn to for years to come.
