- About The Author
- Betty Doyle is a poet from Merseyside. Her work has been published in Poetry Wales, And Other Poems, Brag, Smoke, Lunate, and Another North amongst others, and was longlisted for the Mslexia Women's Poetry Prize in 2018. Her poetry has also recently appeared in the Un(Mother) creative anthology, and in the accompanying poetry film that debuted at Brighton Fringe. She is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University, researching infertility poetry. Her academic work has been presented at at both national and international conferences, and her paper 'End of the Line: Reflecting on the Practice and Poetics of Infertility Poetry' won the MA/PhD Collaboration Award at MMU's Postgraduate Arts & Humanities Centre Symposium in 2021. Girl Parts is her first pamphlet.
