- Book Synopsis
- Appearances can be deceptive. The lives of others may look very different from the reality you may find if you just scratch beneath the surface. Kira is the picture of physical perfection. Carolyn had the idyllic family life others dream of. Ruby is high-flying in her career as a lawyer. And yet. Kira has no idea her ex may be a little too close to home. Carolyn puts on a front to hide her bruises. Ruby isn't who her friends think she is. As their lives become more intertwined, the women wonder if their friendship can survive their past secrets and the violence that follows them. Can they find the strength to seek justice? Or are there just too many secrets and lies?
- About The Author
- Hayley Clark has worked in UK charities for most of her professional career. Her passion for travel has taken her to far-flung places across the globe, where she has hiked the Great Wall of China, been charged at by an elephant and dived with great white sharks. Hayley is also an accomplished artist and woodcarver, spending days in her 'She Shed' at the end of her garden when she isn't squeezing in penning her latest novel. Her first novel focuses on friendships and secrets, a theme she will continue to explore alongside romance in her new works.
