- About The Author
- Christian Alexander was born in Vienna and was brought over to England by his parents at the start of World War II. He was educated at the Priory School in Shrewsbury, and after his A-levels, he obtained an Open Scholarship in Classics at Christ's College Cambridge. Later, he changed to Medicine, which had always been his ambition. After obtaining his science A-Levels, he studied for three years at Cambridge University and a further three years at St Thomas's Hospital in London. He qualified as a doctor in 1962 and wrote his first Granimal book whilst working as a Consultant Physician.
