Veronica Roth is the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant, and Four: A Divergent Collection, a series that has sold millions of copies worldwide and inspired a major film franchise. She wrote Divergent while studying creative writing at Northwestern University.

Roth has also authored Carve the Mark and its sequel The Fates Divide. Her work often explores themes of identity, choice, and resilience. Ms. Roth and her husband live in Chicago.
