- Book Synopsis
- This book serves as a comprehensive resource on the application of metamaterial in different areas such as - wireless communications, microwave, terahertz and medical domains. It covers different aspects of metamaterial starting from theoretical concepts to hardware implementation. In-depth explanations of metamaterial inspired antenna and FSS structures, design approaches and their applications in practical areas are also presented. The book is useful to researchers and engineers working on the design and development of metamaterial-based antenna and FSS.Key Features: Describes design and development of electromagnetic metamaterials. Discusses the application of metamaterials in antenna and frequency selective surface (FSS) design. Describes the design and analysis of metamaterial based antenna and FSS for microwave, terahertz and conformal applications. Discusses reconfigurable metamaterial based ultra-thin antenna and FSS using active elements. The first book to discuss the applications of metamaterial-based antenna and FSS in the biomedical sector.
