Meet the heroes from Irish history whose stories have stood the test of time!
From the giant Fionn Mac Cumhaill who built a causeway to Scotland and tricked his rival Benandonner to bold Grace O'Malley and her pirate crew at sea; from great high king Brian Boru battling the Viking hordes to wild Queen Maeve stealing the brown bull of Cooley; from kind St Brigid and her legendary cloak to the tale of young Cú Chulainn, the 'hound of Ulster', who defeated a wolfhound with a sliotar...
Told with humour and warmth, this new twist on heroes from Irish history will delight a new generation of young readers.
