Irish author Marian Keyes was born in 1963, and initially studied law and accountancy before starting to write short stories in 1993. Her first novel was published in 1995 and she has since become one of Ireland's most successful novelists. Marian has written 16 novels and a non-fiction book, Saved by Cake, revealing how baking helped her cope with depression and sharing her favourite recipes.
