- Book Synopsis
- In recent decades, ecological language has increasingly entered theological discourse. While this might seem obvious, integrating ecological concepts into theology is far from self-evident. In the English-speaking world, a distinct field of research-ecotheology-has emerged, inviting renewed reflection on the relationship between faith and creation.
- About The Author
- Catholic priest and theologian, Francis Agbokou holds a doctorate in Fundamental and Dogmatic Theology from the Institut Catholique de Paris and a Master's degree in Human Resources. His doctoral research focused on the ecological theology of the Australian theologian James Denis Edwards, analysing the interactions between God, nature, and creation within the framework of contemporary theology. A member of the Société Francophone de la Théologie Écologique (SOFTE) and of the research team at the Centre Hélène et Jean Bastaire (Berganty, France, he contributes to interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of theology, ecology, and ethics, fostering an in-depth reflection on the relationship between faith and environmental challenges.
