- About The Author
- Stewart Hastie was a graduate of the University of Glasgow and worked as a veterinary surgeon for 74 years. He was intimately associated with many aspects of the equine world, most notably hunting, eventing and racing. He was Veterinary Advisor to the Society of Master Saddlers and received the British Equestrian Trade Association's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. He sadly passed in February of 2018.
