- Young readers can put their code-cracking skills to the test with this brain-boosting, vibrantly illustrated puzzle book, inspired by the brilliant mind of world-famous codebreaker Alan Turing. Published in association with the Turing Trust, this full-colour activity book includes code-crackers, cryptograms, and cypher puzzles that have been specially designed to intrigue, challenge, and inspire young readers. Alan Turing appears as a character in the book, popping up with tips, extra word problems or secret codes to challenge readers to think a little bit harder. A brief biography of the real Alan Turing is included, to give readers more information about this remarkable man. Improves critical thinking: While solving these puzzles, kids can improve their logical reasoning, problem-solving and analytical skills. Ideal for summer learning: Keeps children mentally stimulated outside the school term. Screen-free time: This activity book will keep children entertained and away from screens for hours. Sales of this book support the work of The Turing Trust, the charity set up by Alan's family in his memory to provide much-needed computers to schools in Africa.
