- This 11 plus numerical reasoning book provides practice for multiple-choice, multi-part style questions. Numerical reasoning questions are typically worded problems that require comprehension and mathematical manipulation of the facts and figures presented. They are designed to measure the ability to interpret, analyse and sometimes draw conclusions from tables and graphs. These problems are often multi-part, requiring several conclusions to be drawn or evaluated from the initial information, with correct answers often being contingent on a preceding part being answered accurately. Although some mathematical ability is required, the primary element being measured is the ability to reason with facts. Each numerical reasoning test comprises ten tests, made up of six questions each with five parts. This book comprises ten multiple-choice-format tests, each containing five multi-part questions, providing more than 220 individual questions.
