Tradeston to Govan in the 70s

The latest volume in the series of Glasgow books featuring Duncan McCallum's 1970s photographs of a de-industrialised and worn out Glasgow accompanied by Gorbals boy Peter Mortimer's text. In this collection the dockside area of Govan is featured as are neighbouring Tradeston, Ibrox and Kinning Park. Tradeston and Kingston had palatial and commodious public and commercial buildings as wells as tenements and the book is a testament to the majesty of Glasgow as a great Victorian city.
