- Salient Features Volume 2 The Second volume provides the reader with a step-by-step guide to developing the fundamental skills of a rhinoplasty surgeon. Septoplasty has evolved from a reductive operation to a carefully designed reconstructive operation often aided by endoscopy. The approach to rhinoplasty has been clearly defined and demonstrated through specific cases. Osteotomies and graft technics are explained in a progressive manner. The chapters relating to tip surgery unravel the mystery surrounding this topic. The nasal dorsum, alar base, and specific clinical scenarios enable the reader to tackle some of the most difficult issues in rhinoplasty. Finally, surgeons famed for their excellence in the open-approach discuss their views on endonasal surgery.
