- Book Synopsis
-
A brand-new type of book for Loki fans, featuring short stories, quizzes, puzzles and oodles of activities to keep even the most mischievous minds entertained.
When Loki plays one too many poo-related pranks around the house, Heimdall sets him the challenge of finding ways to entertain himself that don't involve so much mess. (Or poo.) Easy!
Loki is the most handsome and clever of gods, and with the help of his friends Valerie and Georgina (and Thor, who is not a friend of Loki), he gathers together a glorious collection of quizzes, puzzles, games and activities.
Discover new and ingenious ways to insult your friends and family with the Insult Generator, try to outsmart Valerie (difficult!) or Thor (easy!) with quizzes on Norse mythology, or solve Georgina's secret codes and hunt for Loki in various animal disguises.
There's activities for everyone - and
Loki might even reveal some of those tantalizing long stories he's always promising he'll tell later...
Ideal for readers who:
- Would rather their mythology came with quizzes, games and a healthy amount of nonsense
- May be won over by an activity book that keeps Loki’s voice and mischief fully intact
- Enjoy dipping in and out of puzzles, codes and short comic pieces instead of one long story
- Are after something playful, funny and easy to pick up whenever boredom strikes
- About The Author
- Louie Stowell started her career writing carefully-researched books about space, ancient Egypt, politics and science but eventually lapsed into just making stuff up. She has written fiction for 8-12 (Nosy Crow and Walker Books US), but the number one bestselling Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good series is Louie's first project as both author and illustrator, inspired by her research into Norse myths. Louie writes full time in London, where she lives with her wife Karen, her dog Buffy and a creepy puppet that is probably cursed.
