- David Hare has been producing and directing television programmes for 35 years. Recent documentaries include Legacy; Great Lighthouses of Ireland; Ireland's Historic Gardens; Henry McIlhenny - Master of Glenveagh; Ballyfin - A Portrait of a Country House and Myrtle Allen - A Life in Food. He also produces food and travel programmes with presenters including Neven Maguire, Rory O'Connell, Donal Skehan, Clodagh McKenna and Rachel Allen. His books The Great Lighthouses of Ireland (a Sunday Times bestseller) and The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Irish Lighthouses were both shortlisted for An Post Irish Book Awards.
