“HAVE FUN. GO OUT AND ENJOY SLAYING THE DRAGON."
On 25 July 2025, Andy Moran was interviewed for his dream job: to manage the Mayo senior football team, which he had previously served as a player for 17 years.
On 26 July 2026, under his inspirational leadership, that team landed the most coveted trophy in Irish sport, one that had eluded the county for three-quarters of a century.
This exclusive book is the remarkable inside track on how, over those 365 days, his Mayo team went about ending that 75-year famine, in the words of the players and the management, including now household names such as Moran himself, captain Jack Coyne, Ryan O’Donoghue and teenage sensation Kobe McDonald.
The book also features evocative photographs from behind the scenes, as well as action and celebratory pictures conveying the ecstasy of a triumph that will be talked about forever more.
