Philip Pullman Books

Philip Pullman was born in Norwich in 1946 and studied English at Exeter College, Oxford. He worked as a teacher and lecturer before becoming a full-time writer in 1996. He is best-known for his epic fantasy trilogy His Dark Materials which has been acclaimed as a modern classic. His writing has won many awards, including the Carnegie of Carnegies, the Whitbread Award and the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
