Time Travelling Romance

Time travel romance is a subgenre of romance which combines a love story with a fantastical or paranormal time-travelling plot. In a time travel romance, at least one of the characters is transported in time, usually to the past. They often then have to deal with the conflict of remaining with their loved one or returning to their own time. Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series is one of the best-known examples of this genre.
