Humorous fantasy or comic fantasy is a light-hearted sub-genre of fantasy set in an imaginary or alternate world. There may be a satiric intention behind comic fantasy, but its main objective is always to amuse and entertain. Some of the most celebrated authors of humorous fantasy are Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams.
