Eason Spelling Bee 2023 Week 6

 

 

The Spelling Bee is a competition that tests a student's ability to spell words correctly. It is a challenging competition that requires extensive knowledge of the English language and the ability to apply it effectively. This week was no different as the spelling bee took place in Cavan, Monaghan, and Mayo.

 

Cavan


12-year-old Enda Briody from Crosserlough N.S, was the winner of the Cavan County spelling bee. It was his first time participating in the competition, and he emerged as the winner. Enda was delighted with his victory and praised the competition for providing him with the opportunity to showcase his spelling abilities.

 

Monaghan


11-year-old Rita Regiec from St Louis GNS, came out victorious in this years Monaghan County spelling bee. Rita had never participated in the competition before, but she impressed the judges with her spelling skills. Rita credited her success to the support of her family and the excellent education she received in her school.

 

Mayo

12-year-old Caoimhe O'Leary a student from Cong NS in Mayo, won the Mayo County spelling bee in. She emerged as the winner after beating some tough competition. Caoimhe was thrilled with her victory and praised the competition for helping her improve her spelling abilities.


In conclusion, these three new entrants from Cavan, Monaghan, and Mayo demonstrated their spelling abilities and emerged as winners in their respective county spelling bee competitions. Their success highlights the importance of hard work, dedication, and a good education. We wish them all the best in the next stage of the Eason Spelling Bee competition.
