Finnley Fox

Pockets Perkins was born and raised in the south where she received a degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee. She went on to study art in San Francisco, CA and has an MFA in media design. She began writing her debut picture book after relentlessly reading children's books. When she's not writing, she can be found photographing interesting people or wandering through nature. Pockets lives in Tennessee with her family and their pet dog, rabbit, turtle and fish. About the Illustrator Ian Welsh has been a professional illustrator and graphic designer for over fourteen years. He lives in St Petersburg Florida.
