Alex and Lank's ghost flower adventure

Ten-year-old Alex is spending her summer in Nelson, British Colombia with her mom, as she does every year, but this summer is different. Alex comes face to face with an alien from the Seven Sisters galaxy. Lank, the name she gives her new friend, is eating ghost flowers, which Alex learns are the subject of a Cherokee legend. So begins Alex's summer of adventure by the lake, but with new experiences, much to learn and bullies, how will it end?
