The Western Romance or rural romance genre typically includes romance novels with a small town or rural setting in the American West. As you might expect from the name, the plot often includes a cowboy love interest! The Australian equivalent of Western Romance is Outback Romance and these books share a similar rural, ranch- or farm-based setting.
